VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Messenger: Deliver mail throughout the Hospital. Lots of walking-great exercise!
Monday - Friday : Mornings (9:15 AM -12:15 PM)
Afternoons (12:15 PM - 3:30 PM)

Gift Shop: Retail, wait on customers, operate a cash register.
Monday - Friday: Mornings (9:00 AM - 1:00 PM)
Afternoons (1:00 PM-5:00 PM)
Evenings (5:00 PM -7:30 PM)
Saturday: 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM (open other hours based on volunteer availability)
Sunday: Optional based on availability

Valet: Assist patients coming in/out of hospital, park vehicles.
Monday - Friday: Mornings (8:00 AM -12:00 PM)
Afternoons (12:00 PM - 4:00 PM)
Evenings (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM)

Information Desk: Assist visitors regarding to a patient's room, phone number, etc.
Monday - Friday: Mornings (8:00 AM-12:00 PM)
Afternoons (12:00 PM - 3:30 PM)
Evenings (6:00PM - 8:00 PM)
Weekends: various shifts from 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM

Hostess: Deliver flowers and mail to patients, discharge patients.
Monday - Friday: Mornings (8:00 AM - 12:00 PM)
Afternoons (12:00 PM - 3:30 PM)

General Office: File, match records, etc.
Various departments as needed.
Flexible hours.

Outpatient Clinic Hostess: Assist patients in locating various departments of the hospital.
Monday - Friday: Mornings (8:30 AM-12:00 PM)
Afternoons (12:00 PM - 3:30 PM)
Early Evening (3:30PM - 6:00 PM)
Evening: (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

Surgery Waiting: Serve as liaison between surgery staff and patient's family.
Monday - Friday: Mornings (8:00 AM-12:00 PM)
Afternoons (12:00 PM - 4:00 PM)

Junior Volunteers: An opportunity for teens 14-18 to gain their first opportunity to volunteer in a hospital environment. Six month minimum commitment. One shift required per week. Hours available:
Monday - Friday: 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM)
Saturday and Sunday shifts available as well.
