Laboratory Services

North Ottawa Community Health System's laboratory is staffed 24 hours-a-day, 7 days-a-week, for in-patient and ER services. Our laboratory staff includes ASCP Board Certified Medical Technologists, Phlebotomists, Board Certified Histotechnologists and Board Certified Pathologists-all of whom work together to bring you and your doctor dependable and timely results. Our laboratory is certified by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), as well as the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Heath Care (JCAHO).

We understand that life is busy and that’s why North Ottawa Community Hospital has several Laboratory Draw Sites  throughout the area for your convenience. Our experienced lab technicians will give you the ultimate in fast, personal service. No matter who your doctor is, anyone is welcome to use our Laboratory Service Centers. All results will be sent directly back to the ordering doctor. No appointment is necessary, just walk-in during the business hours listed.
