Bariatric patients are encouraged to attend both preoperatively as they explore their weight loss options and prepare for surgery as well as postoperatively for continued support, regardless of where you had your surgery. The meetings will be held on the third Monday of every month from 6:00pm to 7:00pm in the Multipurpose Rooms 3&4 on the NOCH campus (located at 1309 Sheldon Road, Grand Haven), registration is not required. So join us for a fun-filled evening of support!
The agenda is informal and our goal is to create a warm, welcoming environment for patients to come and openly discuss the challenges of obesity and the benefits of weight loss surgery.
We plan to incorporate things such as a clothing exchange, recipes and taste testing, guest speakers, suggestions on how to get through plateaus and difficult days, etc. Please bring us your ideas/topics for future meetings.
